Louisiana Men's Basketball Inks Vince Sigona

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Men's Basketball has signed Vince Sigona to its 2022 recruiting class, head coach Bob Marlin announced on Monday. Sigona is a 6'1 combo guard from Plano, Texas.

The signee averaged 17 points and 2.5 assists as he led Prestonwood Christian Academy to a district championship following a 25-10 record his senior year.

"Vince is a combo guard who is a proven 3-point shooter and playmaker," Marlin said. "His work ethic, knowledge and understanding of the game should enable him to have continued success as a Ragin' Cajun. We are excited to add Vince to our roster."

The Plano native was named the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches 3-point champion after totaling 127 makes from beyond the arc as a junior.

Throughout his prep career, Sigona accumulated additional accolades including being selected to the All-State Second Team in 2021 and 2022.

Sigona joins Chancellor White in the Ragin' Cajuns' 2022 signing class.
